Inmunofijación en suero
Resumen
La inmunofijación en suero consiste en la detección, mediante electroforesis alcalina en gel de agarosa y uso de anticuerpos, de proteínas monoclonales en suero. Las proteínas migran en la electroforesis y se inmunofijan con antisueros de diferentes especificidades: anti-gamma, para la detección de inmunoglobulina G (IgG); anti-alfa, para inmunoglobulina A (IgA); anti-mu, para inmunoglobulina M (IgM); anti-lambda, para cadenas ligeras lambda, y anti-kappa, para cadenas kappa. Posterior a la inmunofijación, las proteínas que se precipitan se tiñen con violeta ácido para permitir su visualización.
